In my late 20s, I went through a divorce that forced me to reevaluate everything. I chose to take charge of my life, my body, and my future. By the time I turned 30, I was in the best shape of my life. I had visible abs, strength I was proud of, and a deep sense of confidence that came from showing up for myself day after day.
Then I had babies. And everything shifted.
Both of my pregnancies were physically brutal. Headaches. All-day sickness that lasted well into the second trimester. I could barely keep food down, yet I kept gaining weight. I felt exhausted, trapped in a body that didn’t feel like mine anymore, wondering if I’d ever get back to who I was before.
But I didn’t let that version of me stay gone. I fought to come back and not just physically. I rebuilt my strength, my habits, and my belief in myself. Slowly, I found her again. Not exactly the same, but even more grounded, more powerful, and more compassionate. I lost over 50 pounds again, not through quick fixes, but through consistency, patience, and self-respect.
This journey isn’t just about weight. It’s about resilience. It’s about reclaiming who you are even when life throws you curveballs.
If you're in a season where you feel lost in your body or unsure where to start, I see you. I’ve been there. And I’m here to walk with you, one intentional step at a time.
